FAVIMAT

fpevt_75.jpg (15867 Byte) As the most complete tester for single fiber testing, the FAVIMAT combines the technical features of FAFEGRAPH HR and VIBROMAT ME and as a option with an new optical sensing device which evaluates the geometric structure of the fibre crimp.
Once a fiber has been inserted, the system can measure

- fineness

- conventional stress-strain properties
  (strength, tenacity, elongation, moduli etc.)

- mechanical crimp
  (percent crimp, crimp removal force and crimp stability)

- optical crimp
 (crimps per unit length, crimp amplitude)

without further manual intervention.
