FAVIMAT- AIROBOT

fpevtakz_75.jpg (20205 Byte) As the ultimate solution in single fiber testing, the FAVIMAT-AIRROBOT combines the technical features of FAVIMAT with the automatic AIRROBOT single fibre handling system .
After loading the magazines, the system can measure

- fineness

- conventional stress-strain properties
  (strength, tenacity, elongation, moduli etc.)

- mechanical crimp
  (percent crimp, crimp removal force and crimp stability)

- optical crimp
  (crimps per unit length, crimp amplitude)

fully automatic without assistance of an operator.

The ROBOT is an automatic sample changer with magazines holding up to 450 fibres, from which the individual fibres are fed via a transfer clamp to the test section of the FAVIMAT. The fully automatic operation of the FAVIMAT-ROBOT results in a dramatic reduction of labour costs and improvement in measuring accuracy.
